Upcoming Vape Events and What to Expect when Attending

Where in the world to do you vape? 2019 is off to a great start, as Ruthless visited Tobacco Plus Expo International as guests. We had so much fun!

Conventions like these are full of brand new products, tech, education & entertainment. Imagine yourself traveling to a popular destination with your crew. You check in and get a personalized name tag and maybe a few goodies to get you started. Then you enter into a vaper’s paradise, with every flavor, mod, tool and battery you could ever imagine. This could be you! It is the chance to meet the faces behind your favorite brands.

What to expect when attending a vape convention

Samples!

Who doesn’t love samples (think back to your days as a kid in Costco). You will most likely receive a goodie bag upon arrival, that you paid for with your ticket. It will be full of marketing materials from vendors. Check them out! You want to make sure you get the most out of your experience. Try the lots of new things, and see what you like. This will help you decide which booths you are going to visit. Do not beg for handouts, but definitely accept products if they interest you.

Wear the Right Thing

You will be walking a LOT. You will get your steps in as you bounce from the food and beverage area, to vendors, then to the main stage. Think about your footwear when you are getting ready to go. Many vendors give out tote bags as a marketing tool, but definitely bring your own bag or backpack to hold anything to buy. You will want your hands free for trying samples and shaking hands with new people you meet. In addition, you might want to bring some cash. Many vendors take cards. However, having cash on deck could be the difference between you and a brand new mod!

Lastly, bring an extra battery or portable charger for your vape because it will be a long, awesome day.

Be Ready to Learn + Ask Questions

When attending your first convention, your senses will be overwhelmed. There are business owners, venue employees, guests, keynote speakers and sometimes celebrities running around the convention. You should be prepared to take it all in. There is no right or wrong way to make your way around the convention. Ask questions whenever you want! No one knows everything, and this is a great opportunity to access industry experts.

If you have not yet attended a vape expo or event, this is your year. The global market is primed and ready to deliver dope events that will be remembered forever!
